‘split' explores the streets of Shanghai – an investigation into the realm of the seen and the unseen. This body of work continues to explore the intersection between the perceived and the concealed, the transitory and the ephemeral. The culmination of light, figures and cityscape creating a parallel universe and a transcendent moment. This is my ongoing pursuit of what happens after the sun has set, exploring the subtle transformations that emerge after dark and capturing ineffable qualities that hover just beyond the visible, with all of their ambiguity and mystery.
